Submissions to the Pittsburgh Law Review Online should comply with the standards of the print edition, including the use of footnotes.&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li class="show" style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Responses- Short pieces (2,000 - 4,000 words) responding to articles in the current or recent editions of the Pittsburgh Law Review print edition. In addition, </span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">PLRO </span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">encourages replies from the print edition authors (1,500 - 3,000 words).&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="show" style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Essays- Shorter than a typical law review article (12 double-spaced page maximum), </span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">PLRO </span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">seeks substantive and topical pieces that will be published on an expedited schedule.&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="show" style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Commentaries- </span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">PLRO </span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">accepts brief commentaries on cases and policies that impact the Pennsylvania and the Pittsburgh region.
