Submissions
Thank you for your interest in the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. The Law Review invites submissions of unsolicited manuscripts. The Law Review publishes quarterly and reviews submissions on a rolling basis.
All manuscripts should be accompanied by the following:
- Cover letter including the author's name, mailing address, e-mail address, daytime telephone number, and word count
- Resume
- Abstract of not more than 200 words
- Manuscript containing footnotes, not endnotes; All footnotes must conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (18th ed. 2005)
Electronic Submissions
The Law Review prefers authors to submit their manuscripts via ExpressO, the electronic submission service offered by Berkeley Electronic Press. Alternatively, authors may submit electronic copies directly to the University of Pittsburgh Law Review via our email address lawrev@pitt.edu.

The Law Review strongly encourages electronic submissions; however, hardcopies may be submitted to:

Requests for Expedited Review
Please e-mail requests for expedited review to lawrev@pitt.edu with "Request for Expedited Review" in the subject line.
Within the body of the e-mail, please include the following information:
- Author's name, e-mail address and daytime telephone number
- Title of the article
- Publication from which you have an outstanding offer and the date that the offer expires
The University of Pittsburgh Law Review will make every effort to honor all expedited review requests. Generally, we require at least 5 days to respond to requests for expedited review, but exceptions may be made in certain cases.
Withdrawal
Please notify the Law Review at lawrev@pitt.edu as soon as possible if you have accepted another publication's offer or have decided for another reason to withdraw your submissions from consideration.
